Degree: Bachelor of Psychology (Honours)
Professional Associations: Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra).
Peter uses evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Acceptance Based Therapy (ACT). He has a wealth of life understanding and brings experience as a residential youth-worker and personal trainer to help clients achieve their goals.
Peter enjoys working with a diverse client base but has a particular interest in improving the mental health and wellbeing of boys and men. He hopes to encourage men to seek help and get the support they need in a safe, supportive, and understanding environment.
Peter uses a calm and relaxed manner, positive communication skills, empathy and understanding, and appropriate and subtle humour in therapy sessions.
Peter enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, and being active but also appreciates the value of a good powernap and considers himself an expert at it. He is a massive movie fan and enjoys listening to music.
